Does it Upset You that I Get Bored in Church?

 Lord, 

Sometimes I feel bored in church. 

I don't feel like singing

or standing. 

I sit and write my to-do list. 

I know I should be involved in the worship, 

I just don't feel like it sometimes

Does that upset you? 

God: 

I always want to be in commune with you

I don't like to be ignored

You ignore me when you don't sing

You ignore me when you ignore the preacher

I have something to tell you, 

I'm using him to tell you. 

Pay attention, 

Praise me

Because I have something to tell you. 

You will rejoice and sing when you receive it.
