Why Must We Suffer Before We Die?

 Lord,

Why does our health have to decline?

Why do we have to get old?

Why must we suffer before we die?

God: 

So many questions

So little time

Spend your time enjoying what you have now

Rather than missing what you haven't lost yet

Why Cancer?

 Lord, 

Why cancer?

God: 

Cancer is a poison

and we all drink from the same cup.

I can't take the cup from you, 

but I can comfort you when you are sick. 

I'll be with you through the journey, 

I'll comfort them when you are gone. 

I will welcome you home when your time is finished.

Only I know when that time will come.

Focus on me, 

We are on this journey together.

Fill yourself with the Spirit,

leave the rest up to me. 

Why Is There So Much Hate In The World?

 Lord, 

Why is there so much hate in the world?

God:

I created people to love, not hate

People hate because they have no love

They have no love because they don't know me

Why Are People Atheist?

 Lord, 

Why are people atheists?

God, 

They don't know me

Their hearts are far from me. 

They deny my existence

Says the clay to the potter

Wondering how they got there. 

They refuse to look up

and see their Creator. 

They look down

Seek for answers

They will never find
